About Us - Flawer Studio

Flawer Studio is a multidisciplinary creative and curatorial studio rooted in floral expression, spatial installation, and slow-living experiences.

Our work sits at the intersection of art, nature, culture, and human connection, creating thoughtful experiences that invite reflection, care, and presence.

The name Flawer comes from finding hope in flaws. It reflects our belief that beauty does not exist only in perfection, but in change, ageing, impermanence, and transformation.

Our practice is guided by the philosophy of 變態美 (The Beauty of Change), an appreciation of life's shifting states, turning tides, and moments of struggle, where beauty continues to exist in quieter, deeper forms. Through flowers, objects, and space, we explore how beauty evolves over time, from freshness to fragility, from fullness to trace.

At Flawer Studio, flowers are not treated as decoration alone. They are materials with memory, rhythm, and life cycles. We are interested in how floral beauty can be preserved, reinterpreted, and experienced beyond the moment of bloom and how this mirrors our own human experiences.

To support this practice, Flawer Studio operates within a broader creative framework known as the Flawer ecosystem - a series of interconnected platforms that allow our ideas to take different forms, scales, and rhythms:

Flawer Studio : the core curatorial and creative practice, working on commissioned projects, installations, and collaborations

Flawer Resident : a residency and exchange platform supporting artists and creatives in exploration, collaboration, and pause

Flawmullan : a curated slow-living space for floral rituals, tea, wellness, and mindful gatherings

Ever Ever After : a documentation-led initiative focusing on urban waste, overlooked materials, and quiet acts of care in the city

Hearty Hati : a lifestyle and gifting line offering flowers, plants, and objects rooted in ritual, circularity, and everyday care

Together, the Flawer ecosystem allows us to balance artistic practice, cultural responsibility, and sustainable business, ensuring that our work remains meaningful, adaptable, and grounded in real-world contexts.

Flawer Studio exists to offer a different way of seeing, one that honours imperfection, respects nature, and embraces change as a necessary and beautiful part of life.

Founder - Bee Shayne

Bee Shayne is a multidisciplinary artist, creative strategist, and creative entrepreneur. She is the founder and creative director of Flawer Studio.

With over a decade of experience in floral art and spatial practice, Bee's work explores how flowers, objects, and environments can become tools for reflection, healing, and human connection. Her approach bridges artistic intuition with curatorial thinking, creating experiences that are both intimate and culturally resonant.

Her practice continues to evolve through dialogue, collaboration, and the many individuals and communities she encounters along the way.

Beyond commissioned work, Bee initiates self-led practices and public interventions that respond to urban conditions, material waste, and overlooked spaces.

Projects such as KUGE, a flower-offering practice in the city, reflect her ongoing interest in care, impermanence, and attention as creative acts.

Through Flawer Studio, Bee continues to develop practices that explore how art, commerce, and everyday life can coexist with gentle, with responsibility, and with intention.
